Day 01:         YAMANASHI ARRIVAL 

9:30AM-3:30PM: Move to Minami Alps with the guide from Tokyo
- Meet with a guide at Shinjuku station and move to Kofu station by train.
- Take the bus from Kofu station to the mountain hut in Kitazawa-touge.
- Free time after arrival at the hut. Have a dinner and rest for hiking next day.

Day 02:         YAMANASHI

9AM – 3:30PM: Hiking from Sensuitoge pass to Kai-Komagatake
Route: Sensuitoge path→Komatsuho→Kai-Komagatake→Marishiten.
After checking equipment with the guide, let&;s go for hiking!  Sensuitoge pass is located in the deepest part of Minami alps and famous for the best observatory to see Kai-Komagatake.
Walk towards Marishiten through forest, and once you arrive the mountain trail with gravels, the unique shaped top of the Komatsuho is almost there!
Thereafter, walk towards Kai-komagatake. This hiking starts from forest zone, but it changes to slope with gravels and white rocks.
Keep continue walking a smooth road towards Marishiten. We may be able to view Mt. Fuji from the peak if the weather condition is good.

- Elevation difference: ±987m (1980m→2967m)

Day 03:         YAMANASHI /NAGANO

8:30AM – 3:30PM: Hiking at Mt. Senjo (Senjogatake)
Today, hiking begins from Senjogatake to Kosenjigatake. Hiking route will be deep forest. Please earnestly advance to the top.  After passing a forest limit line (tree cannot grow from certain elevation), you will see the wonderful panoramic view.  Keep continue hiking mountain trail in-between the stone pine band towards Kosenjogatake. After walking for a while along the broad ridge line from Kosenjogatake, path will be the rocky zone. Inclination is about 40 degrees and the length is about 30 meter with steps and handrail.  After the hiking, take the bus towards Nagano for about 1 hour.

Day 04:          NAGANO

Transfer to Kiso-Komagatake and sightseeing in Komagane
Take the bus and train towards Kiso-Komagatake. Leave your luggage at Ryokan, and go to sightseeing.  After sightseeing, take the rest time in exclusive ryokan in the great nature. 

Places to visit
- Komagaike pond: Central alps and Senjoziki carl from the banks of the Komagaike pond has seasonal view and a lot of cameraman are visiting.
You will be amazed by Central alps, which is reflected in the mirror-like in pond. 
*Senjoziki carl: Wide bowl-shaped valley created by glacial erosion about 2 million years ago.
- Takemura house: This thatched roof housing, which is built in the middle of Edo period, is one of the national important cultural assets. You can get a glimpse of the history and lifestyle in Edo period from this housing.
- Lake Onuma: This lake, surrounded by forest, has high degree of transparency and it was just a pond for farming in old days. Because the water that is coming from the alps is too cold to give to crops, they built this pond to make it warmer.
Nowadays, people enjoy fishing here.
- Kouzenji temple/Garden: This is one of the biggest temples in Nagano. This temple is famous for beautiful garden, which is designated as a national scenic spot and Hikarigoke (light moss), which is endangered species.

Day 05:         NAGANO

8AM – 6PM: Hiking from Senjojiki to Kiso-Komagatake
Route: Senjojiki→Norikoshijodo→Nakadake→Kiso-komagatake→8th station
Kiso-Komagatake is well known as the highest peak of central alps and rare alpine plants, and wonderful landscape.
After reaching at Senjojiki by ropeway, beautiful Senjojiki carl will be waiting for you. Various kinds of alpine plants will be there to enjoy, as well as vast view of central alps towards Norikoshijodo. Keep walking undulate mountain trail towards th peak of Kiso-Komagatake from Nakadake (Middle of the mountain).

- Hiking: Approx. 6 hours
- Elevation difference: ±344m (2612m→2956m→2671m→2870→2612m)

Day 06:         ARRIVAL IN TOKYO


Back to Tokyo by express bus or Shinkansen with a guide.
