DAY 1: TOKYO ARRIVAL

Meet your assistant at Narita Airport and transfer to the students' stay-in hotel in Tokyo. Enjoy the rest of the day at the comfortable hotel and prepare for a long day ahead.

DAY 2: TOKYO 

Today, the students will visit a school in Tokyo and observe the interesting school life of Japanese students. During the visit, students will interact with other Japanese students. 
After the visit, students will participate in Calligraphy Experience, which they will experience writing their favorite words by learning basic writing technique on the special paper. Teacher also teaches them how to write their name in Japanese and the meaning of "kanji" as well. Upon request, she can prepare their writing in data for them to later print it on their items, such as mug, T-shirt, etc.

DAY 3: TOKYO - TSUKUBA

Today the students will visit the international city Tsukuba, located approx. 50 km from Tokyo. Tsukuba City was designed to be and is assessed to be one of the most convenient and suitable cities for child-raising in Japan. The city is also the largest science technology accumulation site among the country, where approximately 150 public and private institutions and enterprises are located.
We will visit The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). JAXA is responsible for research, technology development and launch of satellites into orbit, and is involved in many more advanced missions such as asteroid exploration and possible human exploration of the Moon.
Later on, students will travel to Tsukuba Expo Center, home to one of the world's largest planetariums. The Center's two stories of high-tech wizardry centers on experience-based exhibits. A facility filled with interactive, experience-oriented science exhibits that make learning about science fun.
End of the day, we will return to Tokyo.

DAY 4: TOKYO - YOKOHAMA

Start off today with a trip to the south of Tokyo for Yokohama, Japan's second largest city with a population of over three million. The city is one of the first Japanese ports opened to foreign trade in 1859. Consequently, Yokohama quickly grew from a small fishing village into one of Japan's major cities.
We will visit Cup Noodles Museum, a fun and interactive museum in Yokohama's Minato Mirai District that shows the history of instant ramen noodles using a combination of whimsical exhibits and hands-on workshops.
Later on, students will travel to Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial Museum. The museum has six zones: space, ocean, transportation, daily life discovery, environment, and technology quest. The present and future of each zone's theme is presented, with many interactive elements like computer simulators. A perfect destination for an educational trip.

DAY 5: TOKYO - KAMAKURA

Today we will discover Kamakura – the ancient city that has developed its own original culture via local train. Enjoy a Japanese experience amid scenes of beauty at Kotokuin Temple, which holds the most recognisable landmark of the city – the Daibutsu (Great Buddha) statue. In summer months, seeing the hydrangea of Hase Dera Temple is an absolute must. 
Later on, enjoy your shopping time at Komachi-dori before returning to Tokyo.

DAY 6: TOKYO – NIKKO

Embark on a bullet train to Nikko, Tokugawa Shogunate&;s sacred town. The town is home to UNESCO World Heritage Toshogu Shrine, an extravagant mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu - the first shogun of the Edo Shogunate. Wander around Japan&;s most opulent complex before having a local lunch. In the afternoon, journey to the scenic Lake Chuzenji followed by the renowned Kegon Waterfall and then return to Tokyo. 

DAY 7: TOKYO

We will go sightseeing to discover the hustle and bustle of Tokyo today. Starting off with Tokyo Tower,  a symbol of Japan's post-war rebirth as a major economic power, Tokyo Tower was the country's second tallest structure. In addition to being a popular tourist spot, Tokyo Tower serves as a broadcast antenna.
Afterwards, we will visit The Tokyo Imperial Palace, the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. It is a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda district of the Chiyoda ward of Tokyo and contains several buildings including the main palace, some residences of the Imperial Family, an archive, museums and administrative offices.
End of the day, students will travel to Asakusa, for a visit to the renowned Sensoji! The colorful, popular temple was completed in 645, making it Tokyo's oldest temple. If we still have some free time, students can stroll along Nakamise shopping street nearby, where typical Japanese souvenirs and various traditional snacks are sold! 

DAY 8: TOKYO DEPARTURE

After breakfast, students will check out of your Tokyo hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
